So, my elbow operation was cancelled at the beginning of July due to my Hba1c being above the safe threshold for surgery.
At the time mine was 73 mmol/mol (cut off for surgery was 69).
I've been strict with myself with regards to food and I had my blood taken yesterday.
Just checked my results online and my Hba1c is now sitting at......... wait for it .........

46 mmol/mol.

I have a gp appointment on Monday as I need to be referred back to the hospital for my surgery.

To say I'm happy with the result is an understatement!!!

That's a brilliant improvement. Well done

Absolutely brilliant result!
Well done Stitch!
Hope you can get an early appointment and get your arm sorted. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

Wow amazing @Stitch147 - that’s spectacular!

Hope the surgery appointment comes through speedily.

Went back to gp today who has done the latest referral for my elbow, now it's just a waiting game, again. The referral letter says I've got to wait until 6th November before contacting them if I haven't heard anything. Hope I hear before then!
