Hi
Just had the results back from my 3 month MOT, the first one since diagnosis, and I am gobsmacked to say the least.
My initial HbA1c was 123, cholesterol was up as was blood pressure.
Now, my blog pressure is a constant normal, cholesterol has come down a bit and HbA1c is now 55 😳
I'm off Gliclazide, although metformin has been increased to compensate. They have put me on a statin for a while due to the diabetes affecting a heart reading but apart from that.........I'm quite pleased with myself :D

You have every right to be pleased - that's a brilliant result from such a high level at diagnosis. Hopefully next time it will be even lower. Also good that they feel you don't need Gliclazide any more. It's always good to hear of people's successes - thanks for sharing.

Well done Spudz, a great result, keep whatever you're doing up...

That’s amazing! Well done!

Fabulous HbA1c result @Spudz I am so pleased for you. That is an amazing reduction.
Glad to hear you were able to reduce your medication. Hope the statins help with your cholesterol.
