does anyone else suffer with hand tremors even when GL are fine??? i dont want to bother going to the doctors if this is a normal thing as i always seem to be there and i think docort just thinks i have turned into a hypercondriac.
but when your were the picture of health 18 months ago and now my body seems to be on self distruck is hard not to be? but he doesnt seem to see this.

any help would be great.

Hi Loulou, sorry to hear about this :( Does it happen at certain times of the day, or is it constant? I would not worry about troubling the doctor - that's what they are there for - better to find out what it is than worry about it, and often if treatment is needed then the earlier the better. It's not something I have suffered from personally, and of course it may not be related to your diabetes at all, given that your numbers are fine.

Make an appointment and let us know how things go! 🙂

it tends to be all the time but notice it more when i am trying to do something, ie grip a pen, knife ect. i have notice it for a while now, proberbly before christmas. i just dont like my doctor, think i will go see a different one.

I'm not keen on the doctor I was 'assigned to' at my practise, so I haven't seen him for 4 years - I see a different one and she is fantastic, so I would definitely try another. Do you know anyone who attends the same place who might be able to recommend anyone specific? If you are getting the tremors all the time you should get it looked at. Hopefully it will be something and nothing and easy to treat 🙂

see another doctor that you do like in the same practice. Are the tremors worse when you are gripping or trying to concentrate? I hope you get it sorted soon

Definitely, I see a range of GPs at my surgery depending on which bit of me I want to talk about! One's v good with mental health and minor skin surgery (tags and warts etc), another for gynae and a third for diabetes and thyroid. Just happened I saw yet another when I had an osteoporosis query!

But all that is 'usually' - in practice other than diabetes I can see any of them, it's just by a process of elimination over the years I've found what interests each of these docs and which things they are especially good at! (or not as the case may be ....)

My friend had this and it was related to thyroid hormone levels, so might be worth asking to get those checked. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon!
