After really careful eating and exercising for a few months now, this morning
i slipped up and have gone a bit overboard on fizzy drinks and chocolate whilst
out with friends at an event. I didn't realise till i got home and started to feel
dizzy. I feel annoyed at myself as i was doing really well at getting the blood
glucose levels down and now i know this will have shot up. I see my nurse in July
and now am dreading this. I have to give a blood sample two weeks before hand.
I'm just worried in case i have to go on medication.
When i saw the nurse back in early April i found out i had reduced my glucose levels
by 19 and was so pleased. Now my halo has slipped! and i feel a right idiot as i
know it's no ones fault but my own.
Am feeling shaky today, so have been drinking water, have had porridge
I was diagnosed with type 2 last Autumn. Am taking part in the Swim22 challenge
and so far so good. It has helped me lose some weight and helped reduce the blood sugar levels. Because of being on medication for epilepsy my memory is not great and i forget things.
Anyone else been in this situation?
Sorry for the grumble.......i know i've just got to pick myself up and get on with it......well definitely swimming when i'm feeling less shaky!
Am i the only idiot who does things like this?
