Relationship to Diabetes

An American friend of mine has suggested that I should try this herb/plant extract grown in India as it lowers blood sugar levels. Apparently you can buy capsules of it here. Has anyone tried it?
 
Thank you Alan for your reply. I think that it is about £6.00 for a 100 capsules, but I don't know the dosage. I am nervous of the unknown, but will ask the pharmacist. 🙂
