Guilty Pleasures

i had one this morning dont laugh but normally i have marmite on toast Well today i had butter as well just felt like it It was yummy

Wine and peanuts are my weakness😉

So many foods I'm not currently eating until I can get my BG stable - the ones I miss most are savoury snacks eg crisps, corn puffs, especially anything cheese or sour cream flavour.

I don't like using the word "guilty", but what's the alternative? Off-plan occasional treats? Too clunky. Something involving the word "splurge" perhaps.

Indulgent splurges? Somehow sounds a bit sexual to me!

Two words, jam doughnuts.

Love the idea of indulgent splurges.

On the topic of sour cream, I have sour cream and chive dip (from the deli counter, not the Doritos stuff in a jar which is highly processed) on my lightly microwaved broccoli and I really like that combo. I usually have it with meat but sometimes just have a plate of broccoli with it tipped over.

I stopped eating doughnuts years ago as I only like fresh warm doughnuts. Spoiled by being chief doughnut tester at the bakery where I had a Saturday job. They were made fresh each day and each batch was checked before adding the caster sugar and jam filling.
