If you have not got them sorted get on with it 😎. They are 70% water & good for you. When you grow them yourself they taste better 🙂

Not had any this year yet , though hoping I will soon, have some developing! I have had a couple of baby cumbers though, that is the variety about half the size of normal shop bought ones!

Need some more Sun :D. A healthy way to eat 😎. Good luck Grovesy

I have no idea what the weather is doing. Is July & have only had 1 strawberry off my plants 😱

They said on the weather there is a gulf stream stopping the warm air getting up the country. I have had a couple of handfuls of strawberries, and the odd few Raspberries!

I was commenting about our hydrangeas mot being in full bloom - Day 1 of the Tour was on Sky today (Cav won - Yay!!) and all along that Cotentin peninsula they went, they were a riot of colour, and plenty of Arum lilies too - however that's normally what they are both like at the end of May!

Pleased you have had some Grovesey 🙂

My mam is always trying to offload tomatoes for most of the summer, and she usually ends up making several gallons of soup which get thrown in bags in the freezer ready for a quick meal. I've already been warned to expect some to bring home with me this weekend.

The one thing I find odd is she has plants that grow tomatoes and potatoes at the same time, and I don't touch any of that produce - it just ain't natural!

I love tomatoes. I am tempted to try growing them, but anything I try to grow in my back garden the friendly neighbourhood badgers tend to take a fancy too and dig them up, even my pansies that I had in pot got dug up!

Why not try Tumbler tomatoes in hanging baskets? The badgers would have to be on stilts to get them!

Not thought of that. I may go to the garden centre at the weekend and have a look.

Do you know about the old woman from Leeds?
She swallowed a packet of seeds
Within an hour her ***** was a flower and her ******* ********* ******** was a bundle of weeds

PS I once had the very tip of a lettuce stuck out of my harris. My doctor was very concerned as he felt it was just the tip of the iceberg 😛

You should be on the stage DL 🙂

Beginning to think my tomatoes are not going to ripen! I have some that are both in the greenhouse and also out side !

I looked up this morning & a full Hanging basket of ripe toms 😎 🙂(Easy pleased) Green house toms are not looking good & very late.

I have over the last week been managing to pick more than I can use daily! But I have got lots of plants!
