Are diabetics ok to drink green tea, black tea,or fruit tea's substituting normal tea.

As far as I'm aware yes, I couldn't see a reason not to x

Yes, no problem 🙂 I find it quite a nice change from normal 'builder's tea' that I usually have! 🙂
Question - would a tea hater like fruit tea, I want to try it but I can't even stand the smell of normal tea (apologies) x

It's totally a different drink 🙂 Try it! 🙂 I like lemon and ginger 🙂

I've had a look on Tesco quite liking the sound of the strawberry and raspberry one, one definitely stood out that I wouldn't touch - liquorice like seriously that stuff is disgusting haha x

I love some of the fruit teas that are available. Makes a change during the day when I'm at work and want a hot drink.

I do like fruit teas, but the lack of caffeine leaves me unsatisfied. I know I'm a craven addict, I just can't help it:confused:. They don't affect my BG, mind. 🙂

Fruit teas make a refreshing change and there are loads of delicious flavours. Lidl do a nice Pear and Apple, Knightsbridge brand I think. Twinings green tea flavours are nice, the Green Tea with Grapefruit and Pineapple is a good one. Their Blueberry and Apple is lovely too. Something for everyone really. I always have several different varieties on the go

Tetley Tea have a range that is good for immune system. Nice

That's what they claim, but there's literally no proof of it whatsoever, it's just tea with added vitamin C. There's no proof at all that vitamin C is 'good' for the immune system and unless you're a sailor in the 1700s you're not likely to be deficient in it.

It's just marketing guff so they can charge you more for teabags. Don't fall for it!

Dues I had a Pneumonia jab & guess what I got 3 month later. I rarely get a cold & NEVER get the flu jab. You do what you do & I will do what I do tks. I passed pneumonia to my wife & then to my 3 yr old son who we very nearly lost. He is now 15 & 6ft 3.

Fruit tea bags are great for thermos flasks - I leave one in flask, with string held by cap.

I was just reading about green tea in Six Weeks To OMg and it's heartily recommended. I might start having a cup a day, but really I only like water. The book says it helps you lose weight though so I might give it a whirl. Certainly would be warmer in winter than water. :D

Give it ago Ditto. I will make you feel better too ! 😉 Something positive 😎

I like my mint tea.

It also seems to help when I have night cramps, but that is probably just because of the fluid intake and also the fact that I have to get out of bed and do a little exercise to make it!

Andy 🙂
