Get some moisturising socks from Wilkos only cost a £1.
Smother your feet in aqueous cream ( I use this 99p big tub from savers to keep it cheap as I do this every night or every other) you can use more expensive creams whatever turns you on.
For those of you who get the 8 hours or those like me who don’t. Just leave them on your feet in slippers also. Until you get ready for the day. Works a treat. Was told to do this by podiatrist.

Yep, I use cheap cream on my feet every night before I go to bed, made a big difference to the condition of the skin on my old clodhoppers :D

Avon do some of these socks too, they are great. Not sure on the price though.

The story goes that my great aunt used to soak her feet in her own wee. 😱 Funnily enuff, I prefer your suggestion, @Hepato-pancreato. 🙄

Wee, of course, contain urea, which is an ingredient in the best foot creams. It softens hard skin. Your great aunt wasn’t daft, Bloden, just saving money and using an old folk remedy, probably passed down in the family.

Great for saving on the pennies. You’d have a never ending supply.
Would be alright for my missus. She has no sense of smell ...lol...

I read something related to this recently, "why you should always wee in the shower", it had a number of benefits mentioned including this ha!

HI,
l was under the impression that a heel balm, detronics I think, was available on prescription so no charge. Which also treats hard skin. So why pay?

I used to be in the sea 3 times a week & I think it did my feet a big favour. Salt water ?

Many CCGS have stopped prescriptions for some creams that are available over the counter.
