Yeah quite carby I either buy reduced salt bisto or make my own with a jue so I know what I'm putting in it

Anything can be bad in access of course
 
I'd agree with steff regarding the salt.

But for carbs, it depends on how you do the gravy. The bisto powder that we use works out at about 3g carb when made as instructions. Oxo cubes are not disimilar.
 
That was something I noticed on the Hairy Dieters programme last night - when they were making their pies they didn't seem to be worried about the amount of salt they were adding!
