Our pharmacy did repeat automatic ordering, you just ticked boxes on prescription when you picked up your pills then got a text to say they were to be collected(sometimes the day after they were due) don't know he you sometimes went a day short, but couldn't wort it out. Last time they were ready early and assistant said you should always be a week in hand( never happened) long story but picked up pills and was handed repeat, and they are not allowed by nhs to operate this system any more because of wastage, so now have to monitor my pills and put in the repeat- so a trip to pharmacy, then another to pick up pills. Grrr

My DRs sent me a text yesterday to attend this affo, which I duly did and they took my pulse !! The woman who did it could not answer my questions - 1st one being "what type of diabetes do I have"- because she said she wasn't qualified to do so.
This surgery - Woodhouse Medical Centre" was recently rated 84th out of 100, it worries me greatly that 16 are ranked worse.

Bill.

There are 2 receptionists at the surgery that I go to 1is ok if you tell her what to do ! The other 1 is a star ,I had an eye problem one Friday morning I rang the surgery to see if I could get to see a GP on Monday morning ,she asked what the problem was with my eyes, said just hang on a minute then said I have arraigned for a GP to see you this afternoon
CAROL
There are a couple at our practice who are very efficient...have never spoken to this one before...she's new...just so surprised she wanted to question my usage...just a simple matter of asking my GP to re-authorise the repeat prescription early...that's all.

She might just be a new brush. 🙄 We know they have to protect the overworked doctors but some go to extremes.

Just looked up my original and my last practice both came up requires improvement in all categories, which I agree with partly as one read diabolical everyone who's been there and left never wants to go back there. My new practice comes up as good in all but one category, which shows as being excellent.
