GP appointment I need virtual hugs please

Just went to the GP because I needed my referral sorted for the "well being" person - I was all smiley and laughing........and after lots of discussion ended up with a repeat prescription for the anti-depressant sertraline - not even a low dose but 100mg - a moderate dose. He seemed to think that I had a lot to deal with health wise and with not having my job and the CFS and that I needed this chemical. I know that he was right but I had to phone OH to pick me up because I was so upset about it.

I think I am going to have to prove the GP wrong and get through this without the tablets - I had the first tablet three hours ago and think I've just lost 3 pounds in weight🙄 The love of my family and friends will get me through plus finding my old spark of self determination!!!

Great! and Flutterby is bringing all of her scissors so it should be interesting! We definitely need before and after photos. I will have a whole new look for my birthday I do have to disappoint though and say that Susie is refusing to join in
