Goverment consulting raising age you get free prescriptions from 60 to state pension age (England)

Just thought you may want to be aware. Its still at consultation for now.
If you are on meds for diabetes you can apply medical exemption cert (get gp to fill on fp92a) which gives you free prescriptions. Some of our senior posters may need to start applying again if it goes through.
Also, if you are close to 60 and have a couple of years left on your medical exemption cert it may be wise not to bin it.
I think consultation ends aug.
