Wow that's impressive for you, and well done :D, as Alan says don't forget the jelly babies.

Would be nice for you to see single figures all day 🙂, though sods law I hit double figures again today. 😱

If you feel funny test to make sure you are ok.

Cheers pav I will keep a close eye...the misses said she will keep an eye on me to! 🙂

I would have some jelly babies by your bed side, as a just in case measure, also carry some on you especially when your out.

I went out the other day for a walk and it was hot so my BS dropped quicker than expected and had no treats on me, left them in my coat pocket 😡. Strange leaving them behind especially as I took my meter with me, the chocolate muffin was very moreish from the cake stall that just happened to be yards away.

Gave me a nice rise in my BS, I was only 3.9 to start with, but would not of been home quick enough to get a snack.

Why is it that jelly babies seem to be the best treatment? I bought jelly babies...3 packs but my misses ate the last pack last night...I think she needs to understand they are for me 🙄

Most sweets that are quick to eat will do - some people like Haribo 🙂 Buy something she doesn't like!

H always has a stash of those Maoam stripes which travel pretty well in the blood kit zippy part- even waterproof in swimming trunks pocket!

Ha ha I dont get the time to bake as often as I'd like to but when I do.. yes.. I've been told I make lovely cakes.. incl cherry cake.. choc fudge cake and a wicked lemon drizzle cake and they're all egg free! 🙂

Egg fee? Got recipes? I'm deathly allergic to eggs and have had a hard time finding decent cake recipes than don't include the things.

I'm so glad you've got a decent supply of strips Jalapino, that will make the task of figuring out what's going on and what works for you far easier.

Thankyou Alison been a funny day, started of nice a and low ( for me )
Had 2 slices of brown bread ( seaded ) then levels went to 18.6
But now to 10.6 but have not had nothing to eat this afternoon gardening and washing the family bus!! 🙂

Well - looks like 2 slices of brown bread are a bit OTT, doesn't it?

Try the same another day and see it it happens again, in which case, ditch them or at least - one of them!

Trouble with carb for breakfast is generally, most diabetics, if they are insulin resistant (that's any type not just T2) - it's most often at it's very worst first thing in a morning.

Only thing you can do, is 'Test, Review, Adjust' -

I AM SOOOO CHUFFED!!!!!!!.....been feeling a bit more energetic and more alert the last hour, just tested and for the first time in months 8.2....it has come out of no where!!! im sooo happy :D

I remember my first reading in single digits, it was such a joy! Didn't last long but once I'd seen one and knew it was possible the drive to see it again was quite high!

Let's hope that soon the highs are the rare things 🙂

Keep at it.

Make sure you write them all down so you can spot if any potential patterns are emerging that will help you smooth things out 🙂
