My son bought this 3.5l air fryer for my birthday, he has been hankering after one for so long, but it is a nice gift and I like the size. Only he has used it so far - battered fishfingers and some frozen mini Greggs sausage rolls - I was impressed by both!
Does anyone know a good site for recipe/cooking ideas and timings etc? The air fryer just came with a few very basic ideas and times, but I am wanting to find some nice low carb/keto ideas to play with. I am struggling to concentrate too much right now so Mr Google is beyond me - so if you have any favourite sites or recipes, please point me in the right direction.
I have some chicken wings on my shopping order for delivery today, so something regarding those would be a good starting point - more the timing as I can coat and spice them up as my fancy takes me 🙂
Any tips would be gratefully received - and I'm hoping I might use this more than the halogen oven that just sits there looking pretty most of the time ...
Thank you

Got to love a good air fryer, all I can tell you regarding timings is go for less than oven timings. wings I normally do for about 20 mins at 180C but if I cook alot they can take a similar length of time to oven timings.

giving things a shake every now and again helps crisp things up. Oven chips are amazing cooked in it just wish I could eat more than the 5 or 6 I tolerate 🙂 generally 5 minutes less than oven timings. the big chunky ones 18 minutes at 200C

also good for roast veg (coat first with a bit of olive oil), sausages etc.

did the wife a birds eyes southern fried chicken thingy last night chucked her in a panini with it a couple of minutes before the end to warm it through, she loved it.

I have an old Tefal Actifry, which stirs things around as it cooks them. I keep it just for chicken thighs these days, but it is worth it. Odd how the skins evaporate though.......

I just Cook things that I would cook in the oven, since my oven is broken anyway. Sausages, roast veg, carrot and parsnip chips, etc.
