I don't have a lot to say on here but I do read the threads whenever I get the time and the information, advice and guidance given out by the 'elders' is incredibly valuable. It's all helped me to get my best ever results in the diabetic review yesterday.

Every measure has improved since the last review with my HbA1c now down to 42 (6%), cholesterol down to 4.05 and weight down by 5kg to 13st 2lb

I'm rattling with tablets mind you so I've asked if I can reduce the metformin SR if possible, currently I'm taking 4 x 500mg per day but I'm sure it's the change of lifestyle that's been most beneficial.

Anyways, cheers to you lot for being so helpful and supportive!

Congratulations on your fantastic success! Losing all that weight is a tremendous achievement, and will have helped you no end. I'm hoping to reduce/come off Metformin myself, having lost over 4 st and regained control. Good luck.
