My HbA1c was 8.1 last August, my latest last week is 45.4 which I reckon is 6.3 in old money. Sooooo pleased with that. Pat on the back all round I think, especially you guys on here. Thank you.🙂

Cholesterol last time was 6.5, now 5.2. That is amazing as I am prone to higher figures. Wonder if I can not go on the statins now.

There are different types of statin, so if you have problems with one, another may suit you better 🙂 Did they say what your HDL cholesterol is like? My chol is 4.6 but because my HDL is very good my consultant is not worried about me not being on statins 🙂

Not yet,(just 'phoned for results) dont see the Dr or Nurse until a week or so, but my ratio last time was 2 to 1 with the HDL being the higher, so may get away with it if I could get near to yours in say another 3 months.

Thank you, was so pleased as my diabetes was found when being checked for another problem, and it was so good to get a bit of a result.

Got no chance of getting my strips now have I, but it was a direct result of testing and advice from you guys.

Now have to settle down and accept my new way of life, and try and keep the resolve.🙂
