Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
I went back to the hospital today and wasnt as bad as i thought. I have learnt a few new things about carb counting and how my insulin works. They even explained how my diabetes can damage my kidneys. (Already get protein showing up:()

They were pleased with what i have achieved over the last 4 weeks, changeing my injection sites and doing my blood sugars. (Along with 7 hypos over the last 9 days) apparently this will all settle down when they understand more about what carbs im having with what insulin.

Turns out that i havent left enough time inbetween dinner and my evening bs so i was haveing extra insulin to sort out the sugar level and over night end up having hypos!

So got a few things to change and go back in another two weeks about my kidneys and the changes made to my insulin and carb intake.

ive done well so far...............happy days.🙂

Sounds like a great appointment! Keep doing what you're doing 🙂

It sounds like you are getting some good advice and treatment, and doing very well 🙂 I had a lot of hypos in the early days but things do get much better as you become more familiar with how your favourite meals affect you, and how to apply a bit of the science and maths to things you are less familiar with 🙂 Well done! 🙂

Sounds a very positive apt, well done 🙂
