Hello and Good evening fellow diabetes buddies.
What am I doing wrong I tested my glucose level at 16:30 and it was 8.3. I had a raspberry cornnetto at 18:00 and 1 hour later I checked my glucose level again and it was sitting at 9.9. I have just had a glass of lemonade at 22:00 to take some paracetamol and my glucose level is now sitting at 15.5 I bet I will be in the loo most of the night passing water like I normally do.

Well a raspberry cornetto will have some sugar in, a rise from 8.3 to 9.9 isn’t bad after that. Was the lemonade sugar free? If not then that explains the rise later. Next time try taking the pills just with water and see if it makes a difference.

Hi Sally71. I have had a bad night up and down to the loo all night I am bushed out I have found the cause of my trouble it's the lemonade it's full of sugar I always order sugar free but I didn't check my delivery otherwise it would have gone back. I am now suffering with a bad upset stomach I am wondering if my cheese had gone by it's use by date.
