my advice was to take it with my main meals, I have had no side effects, also take met slow release and I am fine on both

I have been taking it before meals and so far all is well;I take Metformin too and I did have some slight side effects with that at first.

How much Gliclazide and Metformindo you take?
I'm on 80mg a day and 2000mg of Metformin.
