Hi all. Anyone for a meet up in February to break up dark days

That's a great idea Carol, wish I lived closer! 🙂 Hope you get some interest 🙂

Busy 3rd and 10th but nowt other weekends Carol so far. Although I could do 3rd at a push as long as I left a bit earlier. X

Yes, you're in Scotland, aren't you? I'm in. I was meant to go to Florida 12 Feb but that's off now. Where are you thinking of meeting? Make it Wheelchair accessable!! I'm
I'll be in a cast. Easy to recognise. 🙂

So far the 3rd or 4th Saturday in February sound best for people who have responded. Will we wait a bit to see if anyone else wants to go. The place we went before was wheelchair accessible, and near central station.what say others?

Oh that would be easy peasey, if the weather is with us. I'm in. Name the place. I love Glasgow.

Ok, will wat for other responses. Will split up dark February days

Anyone want to pick a date in February or do you want to wait till March till weather is hopefully better?i know one person can’t come in February already

I will say Fridays are the best day of the week. I've gone from a cast to a brace now, so I am still very interested.

I won’t be able to make it on a Saturday - winter ferry timetable. I could do Friday, there is an 18.00 ferry. The venue is wheelchair friendly, apart from the bit at the far end up steps. Bit of a pain asking for the key from the bar staff, mind.

I’m flexible on dates... but why not do both Feb and March?
Would an alternative venue be better for anyone? Would it make it easier to make it along?

Glasgow central is easy, for me, and accessible venues I am confident about.

I love Glasgow and would have driven up and picked anyone else up one the way who wanted to go but unfortunately I will be away. :(If you plan another one after June again I would love to join.

Has a date been decided yet? x

Hi Kaylz
Scroll back and if you have suggestion for February and/or March, put it forward. Some folks are preferring Fridays. I have to give notice to get a Friday off, so hopefully we can decide soon. I will look on Monday for my suggestions.

That’s a shame and I am sure one can be sorted out
