New year, new mental health company and a new support network for you. Keep us posted on how the meeting on the 10th goes.

Thank you Anna new pdoc as well HOORAY Dislike my currant one

I hope it goes smoothly for you. If you know it’ll take you a while to deal with the change then keep reminding yourself of that.

It's such a shame that someone who is accountable to you should express such awful opinions. I ran a large Adult Social Care operation and always believed that we were only as good as our worst care assistant on duty at 3am. Good luck.

I think that you had a great attitude for a senior manager!

I was REALLY ANXIOUS about seeing a new consultant for the first time on Xmas Eve after having the same one since diagnosis and gradually building up a good rapport with him over the years. Turns out the new one is absolutely great and we hit it off straight away. Hoping you have a similar experience.

Was ANXIOUS but it was nothing to worry about. Meet my new mental health nurse shes called M#### and is really nice said as she has other people here she will come about every 4-6 weeks. However if i need to speak or see her b4 that she gave me her office number to call. She seems really nice and is i think a keeper It oppears i get a new P-DOC as well and he will see me once a year and at section 117 meetings. I said goodbye to my old care-co i will be honest was glad to. Only sad thing was i will shortly be losing my mental health sw KG whom i have a lot to thannk for i mean shes ace at her job she got me into LH and im happy here , happy and feel safe
For the first time in a long while im looking forward to the future with keenness and hope
Yours in love with life again

This is really great to hear @gail2. I'm really pleased for you, although I hope you won't need to rely on them often. But, from what you've said, it sounds like if you do need to reach out to them, they will be supportive. :thankyou:

So pleased for you Gail. What a positive way to start this year.<3

Such good news Gail 🙂 I'm sorry I missed your original post so didn't realise you were having to change care companies. Great news that you also have the office number in case you need the Mental Health Nurse between visits. It sounds like she is practical as well as nice. Hope all goes well with her in the future x
