Not feeling very well at all. I've taken some extra anti sickness tablets that I had in a drawer and I'm drinking sugar free squash. My BG is currently ok at 6.2. Is there anything else that you think that I need to do/be aware of with the gastroenteritis because of the diabetes and my various tablets? Last time I had it I ended up in hospital and I want to avoid that happening again.

Thank you Jalapino🙂

Hi Amanda, I've nothing useful to add except to sip your drink frequently rather than gulp. More likely to stay down that way. Apologies if a phrase involving grandmother and eggs springs to mind! Hope you feel better soon.

Hi LeeLee thank you for what you've said🙂

Hi Amanda, sorry to hear you're unwell. I'd guess that your other tablets won't be working as they should, hope you manage to keep thing under control and don't end up in hospital this time. Take care and hope you feel much better tomorrow.

Try to avoid things like milk, tea and cofee, keep meals light and which you nibble at make sure you have plenty of fluids which you sip, if it carrys on too long seek medical help, keep hypo treatment handy 'just in case' are the most constructive suggestions I can make. I hope you feel better soon.

Withthe fluids I have found it helpfu; to use bottle with sports caps or a starw as it stops me drininking too fast. Drinking too fast can sometimes be counter productive.

Thank you Newbs. Thank you Caroline for the suggestions which are really helpful. Tummy seems much better today but energy wise I feel like I've run a marathon. I think me and the duvet will continue to be close friends today🙂

Have lots of rest and recuperation, I hope that that is the worst of it over 🙂
