Good news - sort of! My DSN has talked with my consultant this week and the consultant is in agreement with her about the possible gastroparesis so has referred me for a gastric emptying study (ignoring my useless gp). I'm not looking forward to the test but at least I will have an answer one way or the other. I've had 2 more long-lasting hypos this week, 1 1.5 hrs, the other 2 hrs again, both followed by a massive high. My DSN said my gp hasn't even tried to contact her, when he told me he would, no surprises there though.

Good to hear that you are making some progress that will hopefully provide you with some answers, and treatment if necessary. 🙂

Your GP needs to be called to account if he is not acting on things he said he would, he should at least provide an explanation :(

Hi Newbs I've PM'd you I hope you got the message x. I can't believe that your GP didn't speak to the DSN when he said he was going to. Your DSN sounds great🙂

Hi Newbs, glad the DSN has sorted things and the test can go ahead. Wish you well with it all, at least you will know one way or the other.xx

Thanks. I am lucky to have the DSN I have and at least I'll get an answer. I did think my gp would contact her, even if only to disagree with what she says!
