Thanks for the tips. I have got some oil now so will start treating the nail with that later. My GP did recommend the clinic, it is linked to the surgery as they are both called Three Spires and it mentions the clinic on the surgery website too.
😱
Mmm I see. IMO it needs to be investigate at the very least.

You really should complain Newbs that's incredibly dangerous for them to suggest treatment like that to someone with diabetes. Not to mention the fact that they should have referred you to NHS services first not private treatment, especially if they hadn't even checked it was actually fungal. Ooh I just keep getting angrier about it. You should also ask for your money back, it's the least they could do. BTW you can also buy foam covers for your big toe (and the other ones) if there's interaction between the nail and your shoes, they work well and aren't expensive (boots and super drug both do a version) helps it feel more comfortable whilst it settles 🙂

Hi Newbs I don't know if you have received it but I sent you a pm.

I know, it was rather a supprise to me too.
I hope your toes are not so sore now.
Toes are feeling ok now thanks - and my nail looks so much better since I saw the podiatrist. Keeping an eye on all my nails though, just in case.
