It's all the sugar in it. Nothing to do with added.I know fruit juice can be dodgy due to added sugars
You're best of as keeping it as fruit, then you get Everything.but keep the pulp & fibre, is that ok in moderation?
Eating fruit has fibre so it slows the release of the sugars, when juiced the fibre is broken down so the sugars act more quickly.I haven't been told not to eat fruit but I have been told to avoid fruit juices as the are loaded with sugar x I get so confused with it all at times x
There was a simple experiment on one of those food sciencey programmes - take a big glass of fruit juice and drink it, and then try to eat the equivalent amount of whole fruits - you soon realise how much more you are getting in the fruit juice 😱 Same goes for smoothies as well - they are mostly NOT healthy. Most have a base of banana and/or grape, plus tons of whatever fruit it is flavoured with, plus probably some extra sugar for good measure - carb hell! 😱I haven't been told not to eat fruit but I have been told to avoid fruit juices as the are loaded with sugar x I get so confused with it all at times x
The 1 litre is the small size. {*looks at pile of empty cartons from today*}I keep the small cartons in the car for when needed, trouble I found when buying the big ones like the 1 litre size...
I think we should be doing our bit not to link to these fake news sites. The DM's science reporting is some of the worst in the world, plus their idea of medicine is to divide everything up into either cancer-causing or cancer-preventing.There was a simple experiment on one of those food sciencey programmes - take a big glass of fruit juice and drink it, and then try to eat the equivalent amount of whole fruits - you soon realise how much more you are getting in the fruit juice 😱 Same goes for smoothies as well - they are mostly NOT healthy.
