How long do your wallets take to dry out?
I thought I might have damaged mine by oversoaking, I had to hang them on the line to dry them out and even then they lasted a 2 week holiday and probably 2 weeks on the line after that.

Mine take about a week to full dry out and deflate before I can it it back in its pouch for storage until the next time.

Mine usually take a few days to dry out completely, I put it in the conservatory and it gets pretty hot in there. In winter it can take quite a bit longer.

I do usually re wet them every couple of days when I'm using them though, even though there is still water in them I like to top it up just in case.

Does anyone else find that over time the crystals take longer to soak? I had to leave mine in the water for ages on Friday before it seemed wet enough.

Yes I do. The ones I've had for a long time have stopped working so I think they do have a finite life span.

Another reason why I prefer a stainless steel vacuum flask over Frio pouch - quick to dry out when stood upside down, then back into cupboard. Still using the same ones since diagnosis about 17 years ago 🙂
