doh!

I bought them from medical supplies.co.uk I think.

Yeah I think I've been a bit stupid here, I got the same 2 items, I was thinking the pouch was a lining but as you rightly said it isn't !

Ignore me I'm having a ****** moment/week!

I'll have a look for the liners myself now, cheers.

Not that I'll be going away anywhere hot for a while!

My large frio has arrived. Can I ask anyone who has used one before, how long do they last before needing to be re-soaked? I am just wondering whether to prepare it the night before our hol or leave it to the morning we depart? Any further advice on the use of the frio would be very welcome.
Thanks! :D:D

You should get a good 48 hours before you need to re-soak it.

Try it for a few days before you need to use it, they last years, so a couple of extra uses won't do any harm.

Thanks, Einstein. 🙂🙂

Can anyone advice me please?

As it is only just over a week till our hol, I have just tried out my large frio wallet. Soaked it, left it a bit and all seems ok. Now i am just leaving it out to dry. It says that i need to store it in an airtight container until next use, once it has dried out. Is this essential? What would you recommend a sandwich/tupperware type box perhaps?

Hi Mand,

I have one of these that I tend to use all the time - it pads your pens quite well. 😉

I usually resoak it before it has completely dried and it is fine.

On the whole, I don't think it matters whether you keep it wet or dry or in an airtight container at all.

I don't bother with a container and mine are years old - let it dry, stuff it in a drawer dig it out next time, soak it and away you go :D

They really are that good and durable!

Thanks to you both! Was hoping for advice like that because it a lot easier to just stuff it in a drawer! :D

ps when i stuck my hand inside it did not feel too cold, just cool. Does that sound right? 🙂
