Hi

I have a new frio bag and am using it for the first time today.
I have soaked it in water for the designated time and it has activated the crystals and now looks like a lilo?
However it doesnt feel very cool. Should it feel cool? Am I supposed to put it in the fridge?
Can I put it in the fridge if I want to?

Thank you.

You've done it right. Frio bags don't explicitly feel 'cool'. The evaporation of the water from the crystal helps maintain a lower ambient temperature. You don't need to put it in the fridge.

Thanks - could you put it in the fridge if you wanted to though

Yes, but it won't make any difference to its ability to cool things down.

The instructions that came with my Frio pouches say 'DO NOT place the FRIO wallet in the refrigerator for risk of damage'. I am not quite sure what form that damage would take, but I never found it necessary to put them in the fridge. Even though they do not feel cold they seem to work!

Thanks for the help - frio bag now removed from fridge!🙂
