Hello my diabetic friends
Having been diagnosed just a couple of weeks ago I am still coming to terms with things. I met up with friends this weekend and had to contend with a takeaway menu, opting for a tomato based dish instead of my usual Korma. What I didn't expect was the attitude of my friends. They are my best friends in the whole world and I've known them since my pre-teens. When I declined the dessert of a Belgian Chocolate Pot my friend said "but I bought them for you!" I also got "oh you can have a treat surely". 🙄
It would seem that I am not the only one to have to make some adjustments.

PS This is a great forum; friendly, informative, responsive. Thank you folks, you've been a Godsend in these first few weeks.
