Hi all
I’ve been having a terrible time trying to stick to my diet and I just wanted to mention that I have bought a blood glucose monitor that stays in my arm for 14 days called Freestyle LibreLink and it works with my iPhone. As you can see, the difference in helping me control what I eat is below - my bloods from a few days ago and yesterday. I think it’s a great tool for those of us who struggle. I have to pay for it though but it’s worth it if I get to keep my fingers and toes!! (Lately the neuropathic pain has been getting me worried).

Great to hear you are finding the Libre a helpful and motovating source of information @Snootybutnice

Some forum members use the same technique but with before- and after-meal checks with an affordable fingerstick meter, which can offer a cheaper option, though it doesn’t show all the detail, of course.

That's very impressive data. Keep it going and don't worry about the odd slip. Show this to your doctor and try to get them on prescription.

great to hear your getting on well with your Libra CGM @Snootybutnice I'm still quite new to this kind of technology myself, and initially trialed it after a recommendation from a forum member.
Ive been using the sensors for just over 3 months now, and seen some great improvements myself
many of us on here are always learning the best way to manage what we eat, and with the support of healthcare team & medication and now technology are improving our health / reducing the risk of complications
