My iPhone 7SE won’t work with Freestyle Libre2. A call operator from Morocco phoned and suggested I bought new iPhone 8 or 12 as mine no longer compatible. When I said I’d only bought it for my Freestyle Libre she said just keep on using the Reader instead. They need to get the App back to working properly!
I believe that the problems with the iphone app have now all been resolved so it may be a problem with your phone. What problems are you having? If you can't start the sensor it may be an issue with the NFC on your phone. If you have ApplePay you can try using that to test if the NFC on your phone is working because it uses NFC.

Personally I have gone back to using the reader because it is far more reliable and dependable and I don't need rtCGM or feel it is a step forward for me, plus I really hate the iphone that I bought second hand as a back up for the reader, so I intend to go back to my Motorola as soon as I have the time and patience to swap back and keep the iphone as the emergency back up it was intended to be, now I have tried the new app/CGM and decided I don't gain any benefit from it.

We don’t have ApplePay. Hardly use the iPhone except a few photos or husband calling people as calls are usually free. Husband says it has nothing to do with the NFC. & I downloaded the App after Freestyle had us deleting it. Call operator said this iPhone no longer compatible.
I’ll just use the Reader for now.

If your Apple phone is up to date with all the updates (I use an Apple 14pro - what series is yours? ) f it's higher than series 8 with all the updates it should work - as long as you have Bluetooth switched on.

Unfortunately iPhone 7 was discontinued in Sept 2019, And I think the iPhone SE was discontinued in March 2022, so iPhone 7 is increasingly falling off the compatibility lists. :(

I upgraded my iphone 7 earlier this year (it was no longer able to run the most recent iOS if memory serves) and various apps became available to my phone again.
