Hi All, I applied for a free meter - its a One Touch Verio Pro. I got it as part of a trial because I wanted a new meter. Unfortunately they took so long to send it, I got myself a contour meter and now my DSN has recommended I use the Aviva Expert that she gave me because it has a bolus advice feature. So, basically, I'm not going to want to try this one touch one because I love my Aviva. If anyone wants the meter, it comes with strips and a finger pricking thing, please let me know and I will arrange to meet up with you to pass it on, or I can give it to you at the Birmingham meet.

yehhhhh.....I ordered one of these too...still haven't got it (only wanted one as a back up to my expert though)

I've got an aviva but if I had an expert, I would have thought its features would make it preferable to use. Have you tried it ?

Sorry Natalie. Just re-read it and realise I got the wrong end of the stick ! 😱

Mine is a nano but it's shiny and does the job in hand :D

That's ok Rob, I rather like my Expert - it plots graphs and stuff, its like having a new gadget to play with 🙂

Sorry Rob - try begging your DSN, you never know 🙂

Anyway, I can't believe that I am struggling to give away a free meter? Still no takers?

Id snap it up if I had not heard bad reviews about it hun,not sure if its for type 2s either

ah, ok. I think type 2's can use it but I guess it is aimed mainly at type 1s

Hi Natalie

Carol uses various OneTouch meters. Saw the verio offer, but couldn't apply for it. I'd love to have a look at it at the Birmingham meet if you don't mind.🙂

Hi there I recently ordered the Glucomen lx plus online and recieved it within days. You can even order coloured covers ( which is why I switched lol). Its free of charge aswell 🙂

Of course, I'll bring it along and you can see what you think 🙂
