Foul 'evil empire' drinks

I was out with family yesterday. Being out is always an issue with getting a drink. I don't do achole. Only thing you can get diet is cola, which is Foul stuff pushed by Evil Corporations.
We were in the one place in the contry that actually does something different. Someone else went to get the drinks, and brought me back a Foul $£@$# cola. Not allowed to say anything. It was my mum.

Well Schweppes do a 'diet' orangeade, which some places do. All mixers eg bitter lemon, tonic water and dry ginger are widely available in licensed premises plus most pubs also offer tea and coffee these days, esp if a 'food' pub.

I actually rather like Diet Coke!
I do agree though, if you don't want to drink alcohol and can't have full sugar soft drinks then there really isn't much choice, and there should be!

I'm glad I only like water. I do like the occasional Diet Coke as a treat on a hot day. 🙂

It's not just coke I detest, it's all the foul colas 😡.
And in this case there was an actual choice. And they still got me cola.

I'm not keen on diet drinks either but I've found Sprite Zero Sugar is OK.

Sprite would be OK.

Hi my name is Eggy and I’m a Diet Coke addict! 😱 There I’ve said it. It has to be Diet Coke not Diet Pepsi or Pepsi Max or any other pretenders. Lots of pubs only do Pepsi which is very annoying and I usually end up having to have a glass of wine!😉
