Hi everyone! As you may know our forum database resides on one of Diabetes UK's servers. They have recently been moving all their databases to a new server and on September 1st it will be the forum's turn. This means that the forum will be unavailable, possibly for a few hours, on that date. Also, as these things take approximately 24 hours to propogate around the world, there may be intermittent availability during that period.

If I get more information I'll update this message 🙂

I alright that day though as I have appointment in hairdressers them I am taking son to piccys,so im covered.

Just wanted to remind everyone that the maintenance will be taking place tomorrow morning, September 1st 2011 but may take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout interwebular space. 🙂
 
No problem. Though I get my blood results back tomorrow, oh well will have to wait and moan on Friday :D

The site shouldn't be down all day Aileen, hopefully just an hour or two, but there might be intermittent access for some people whilst the domain name servers on other people's systems get updated with the new information.

Hope your results are good! 🙂

I guess they are setting things up - I asked if they would put a screen up whilst it was happening so people wouldn't think it was their own isp etc.
 
Crossing my fingers! A forum a friend uses was upgraded. They kept all the threads and posts, BUT lost all the users! 😱
