hi there,

Have been exercising more of late and have noticed that the underside of my left heel, is a bit numb, red, and a bit of pain, quite uncomfortable, is coming from there even where resting. I am also getting some pain in both my lower legs too, occasionally.

Did read up on plantar fasciitis too which has similar symptoms. Could it be this possibility? In which case I will need to find an alternative way to exercise, being 56 and obese with type 2 diabetes. Any advice on this?

We can't diagnose on this forum. It's best to ask your GP.
Depending on what type of exercise you are doing, changing footwear or to less weight bearing exercise such as cycling or swimming might be suitable. Some areas have exercise on prescription to allow cheaper or free access to swimming pools, gyms etc, so ask your GP about that, too.

Thanks. I'll do that then. Speak to my doctor...
