Good morning everyone. I was trying to avoid seeing anyone medical this year but I’ve now got an infected big toe on my broken foot! Hoping GP will give me antibiotics because when I’ve tried salt water and Mark pushing out the gunk last time the toe just got worse.
Then after this fracture clinic on Thursday, Moorfields retinal on Monday and neurologist on Tuesday. Fortunately I’m still smiling 🙂

Sorry to hear this, hope you get the toe sorted. Good luck for the appointments.

Have you tried magnesium sulphate on it? That stuff really does work wonders (I haven't used it since diagnosis though)

Hope it heals soon!

I know the feeling with appointments, 3 that I know of already 🙄
xx

Oh bugger! Hope you get some antibiotics and hope the infection heals soon. Hope all your other appointments go well too. Xx

Thank you Grovesy, Kaylz and Stitch xx Went to the surgery for antibiotics, happened to mention that my left foot has been swollen for over a fortnight - next thing I know I’m having a blood test for heart failure!!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Amanda. And I hope the appointments go well.

Thank you Grovesy and Mike.
I’m extremely pleased to say that my test result for possible heart failure is already online and the GP has written that it’s normal. I’m so relieved

Phew, what a relief.

Pleased to hear all is ok and I hope you heal very soon, take care x

You really don’t do things by half do you? Glad your test turned out to be ok. Phew!

Thank you Lin, Lucy and Eggyg xx

You are certainly starting the year with a blast!!
Take care Amanda
