I've no idea who made the ones our surgery used on us. Whilst I've certainly had things made abroad - the EU mainly and shedloads of blood test strips are made in eg Malaysia, far as I know I haven't ever had anything made in Korea.

Yep, I would guess this has zero implications for anything in the UK.
 
I had TIV one and I have just checked the patient information leaflet I was given when I had it, it does not say where it was made. Though it does give information of to report any side effects via the yellow card system.
 
I know that the news outlets are wide and varied these days, but usually with me, there is a negative news story launched either just before or just after I am involved with something. Most I take with a pinch of salt I have to admit but since I was caught up in the Human Insulin affair (as I like to call it) where deaths were happening..I always keep one ear and eye on the health news these days ....lol
