Paul, I must admit to suffering a bad bout of the dreaded man-flu after being given the flu and swine flu combined jab last week. As per usual with the first sign of a runny nose I was completely incapacitated. I did however, get the benefit of the universally accepted cure for this debilitating condition, a solid ten minute nagging from a lady in a futile attempt to get me to do some nonsense for them. It works a treat, there is only so much of a shrill rebuke complete with finger wagging and contemptuous sneer that any man can take before he cracks and begins to get his arse into gear, if only to get out of earshot. I find that most people of the female variety are all too happy to provide this service, and at just a moment's notice. Your wife should therefore be able to help. 😉
