Hi all iam thinking of making a cherry crumble and a sponge over weekend can i use self raising wholemeal flour and splenda sugar.

I think quite a few people have suggested that a better alternative to normal flour of any colour would be almond flour/ground almonds if you are looking for a low carb crumble, and as said you won't need as much of the sweetener you choose to use.
Some artificial sweeteners are better for baking than others and Canderel now seem to have different ones for different uses, I'm not sure about Splenda.
