Hi, I have Type 1 diabetes since 1973since I was 6, bl***y h**l 49 years, I didn't realise it was that long. I've had the usual things like
Retinopathy, Neuropathy.
In 2016 I ended up in a coma after developing Sepsis which affected my blood sugar which I've been told went over 50
causing a bit of brain damage, leading too weakness down my left side and memory loss but at least I'm still here to make new memories.
The reason I'm posting this, I hope people will read this and realise diabetes has to be treated properly and not to get complacent, as it can be very dangerous.
