after just been diagnosed with T2 and starting meds which had to be changed due to problems i got my new meter today and this morning did a finger prick test waited for the result only to find it was sitting just short of 10
before anyone jumps in and thinks i was eating carbs for breakfast absolute no carbs in sight and this also questions the doctors blood tests also showing abnormal levels, each was done with little or no nothing to eat which then questions what is going on to raise the glucose levels like this.
i am seeing my nurse shortly so will take the readings with me for further input as to what might be going on.
for the time been any input on here welcome although no mention of carbs as i didn't have any at the time of the blood tests and finger prick tests.
