Does anyone have any experience of Fiasp. I have just started using it as type 2 and newly pregnant. I inject, then eat, then about 30-60mins later start to feel really sick. Not sure if it is just my body getting used to it?
Any advice welcome.

Do you test your BG when you feel sick? - nausea is a symptom of very high BG.

Hi, I’ve recently started using Fiasp instead of NovoRapid - I haven’t really experienced any significant change.
Maybe the nausea is linked to the pregnancy ?

I just tested and looked at previous readings. My '2 hours after lunch + insulin' readings are in the 9s and 10s. All other readings are 6s and 7s. I thought the insulin was meant to help? I dont really understand it all.

Fiasp is supposed to act faster than other mealtime insulins.

I tried it last summer but didn’t get on well with it so switched back to NovoRapid which I find more reliable (if a bit slow)

Hope you manage to get to the bottom of your nausea - have you read the Patient Information Leaflet in the box to see if it mentions nausea as one of the side effects?

Well that post meal reading is quite a lot more than is recommended in pregnancy, isn't it? The pre and post meal numbers they recommend you reaching are far tighter than when you aren't expecting. I think you need to go back to whoever's advising you on insulin use and say what you have told us, because either the dose of Fiasp needs increasing or you need a different type.

I also used FIASP last year in place of Novorapid. I didn’t notice any nausea with it. It did work a lot more quickly for me than Novorapid so I did not need to inject as early as I had done before a meal. It also dealt with meals out a lot better. BUT I gave up on it because it stung, and made my pump cannula sites go skanky very quickly
