Yes but at least you are 79% in target. I am still 100% above target for the past 4 days. I managed to get a 9.2 this afternoon, so I am just celebrating getting a single figure reading!

Oooooops.

Two days of hypos, three in Xmas morning as we were rushing to get to friends
One nice level day, in spite of having a party here

Now 16 and rising. No excuse like a cold, sickness, ...just forgot to inject for the cake!!!
Mind you it was very nice. Just waiting for levels to drop before going to bed.

I’m 14.7 and rising ...... damn those hero chocolates looking at me.... also waiting for things to decrease a little before bed and having to watch the crown while I wait!

Had 3 perfect days with the biggest rise to 9.6. And only 2 hypos. Never mind will one day matter so much

Hope you don’t have to wait too long for thugs to drop

It might be a bit more than one day. The Christmas cake is calling.
If I keep practicing perhaps I will get the carbs sorted!!

Enjoy that Christmas cake ...... and the maths workout!

The other day for lunch I had a jam and cheese sandwich, a banana, and a chocolate brownie. I remembered to add a unit for the brownie ... but forgot that I also needed to add a unit for the jam <doh>. Got up to about 10, the highest reading I've had all week.

I was doing OK until I fell off my horse this morning. I feel like I’ve pulled some muscles/bruised some ribs, and my blood glucose shot up to 16! I think I’ve turned a corner with a hefty dose of insulin and ibuprofen.

Oh dear @Robin
So sorry to hear you hit the deck. Hope there in not too much damage and you recover quickly. Was it a spook or were you being a bit too brave doing something risky?.... or do you just have naughty horses like mine who like to check if I am paying attention.

It was just one of those chapters of mishaps, @rebrascora! Jumping a big (for me) spread, on a horse I’d never ridden before, she got a bad stride, half ducked out, then cat leapt it, I got thrown off balance, and one of the stirrups detached, so no chance of recovery, and I went straight out of the side door. Just one of those things.

To me that would probably come under " being a bit too brave!" which is definitely the most noble way to hit the deck! Well done!

Hope your not too bruised @Robin and that the levels start to behave again.

Oh @Flower I like that ‘play your carbs right’ 🙂

I've just played roulette with a piece of ginger cake and custard. Starting number 6.8.......the question is higher or lower!!!!

Hope you’re not too sore @Robin

Feel like this Christmas has gone well considering it's my first diabetic Christmas, no hypos... And slightly elevated evening readings, but not to too above target, except last night after dinner when I'd had a small piece of Christmas pudding, some fruit, a tiny bit of brownie and then someone suggested we finish off the ice cream cake... (12.9 before bed)

Could have been worse!!
I hope you enjoyed every mouthful so that the high was worth it.

Glad to hear things have gone well all things considered @Jha19 🙂 It is a work in progress however many Christmases you've dealt with! 🙂

Mine was more 'Tales of the Unexpected' this year than previous , quite a few hypos when I was expecting a rise and a few stubborn highs just because. 🙄🙂

That has reminded me of the Tales of the Unexpected when the police ate the evidence of the leg of lamb.
Anyone else remember it?

I've enjoyed plenty of the good stuff, and pleased the highs were marginal. (Although I did sneakily slightly increase my insulin (I'm on 'fixed' does of intermediate) on Christmas morning).
