To be honest I don't really want one but if it's the only way to sort my levels out mayb it would b good for me , I've actually got my appointment to see consultant bout my eyes 19th June hopefully won't need laser surgery yet quite a scary thought that one is !! X

That's great, I've never had laser treatment but have had injections for my eyes, they aren't actually too bad and I just keep thinking well its better to have them than let my eyes get worse, that's the way I look at everything now haha xx

Yea very true , don't wanna go blind I want to see my granddaughters grow up .. so I'd have whatever they suggest !

I'm not sure why they think a pump may be better for you at this stage Lisa, the main problem at the moment seems to be that you are not getting enough insulin to bring your levels under control - a pump is no real advantage over injections in that case, so I would expect them to want you to persevere with injections for a while longer. Are you Type 1 or Type 2? It says Type 2 on your profile, did I miss something? Were you misdiagnosed?
