Today I've only eaten breakfast & my tea, didn't have lunch as was out & about & busy so snacked on some sweet/salty popcorn as I find I don't need much insulin to eat it but I am feeling really light headed & funny.
My sugars are at 7.0 at the moment but it seems if I skip any meals I feel light headed.

Can anyone offer any light on it, I've mentioned it to the docs previously who said its nothing.

Sometimes I feel odd lightheaded and assume I'm high or low, but am fine I just put it down to being hungry, body asking for a bit of something, or tired?!

Hi Laura I feel like this when my BGs are fine but I either haven't eaten enough or I am generally tired. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks AJ, I've just had some cereal which has improved the feeling slightly but now got a banging head.

You could be a bit dehydrated, guaranteed to give me a headache and could also account for the light headed feeling

Hope you are feeling better Laura. I enjoy missing meals & dont feel like you disscribe ? Your doc doesnt sound very supportive 🙄

I'm usually good at drinking water, I didn't at lunch due to being busy but the feeling is still lingering & I've had several pints of water

Thanks hobie, I'm wondering if its my body wanting food to make me feel that way.
Hmmm my doc is the best *insert sarcasm & raised eye brow*

Hope you're feeling better Laura. I was out and about in Oxford Street yesterday afternoon (enough to make anyone go crazy...) and felt a bit odd when I got on the bus. I immediately put it down to the D, tested myself and I was 6.4. I know I always automatically assume its due to the D whenever I feel odd, but I think that yesterday it was just a combination of being tired and dehydrated...🙂

I feel odd again today cleo.
Mum said I look poorly but am sitting at 6.2

Ooohhh Oxford street, I love London but find people very rude on the tube & big shopping streets. Hope you got some nice treats 🙂

Oh no ! you sure your meter is working properly ? Make sure you eat properly and drink plenty of water (oh no I am turning into my own mother haha!).

Yea, dont like Oxford Street esp. on a Saturday, and yes agree with the level of rudeness. I have been up north a few times and people are def. much friendlier and much warmer !. Didnt buy anything as just needed to do some 'research' but managed to get good ideas for wedding jewellery 😉

Yeah did a solution test & it worked but I did use my spare to double check & was 0.3 lower on my spare.

Mum has sent me to have a lie down (but the F1 is on :( )

Oooooohhh what you thinking to go with your dress?

listen to F1 on the radio, I prefer it on radio to be honest can then do other stuff! Hope you feel better soon.

If I watch the tv, I can look for vettels weakness for when I come to get my revenge on him for robbing alonso's change of winning last season

Argh mums are great arent they ? they always have your best interest at heart😱....mine lives in France, so dont get to see her all the time. That can also be a good thing though haha.

I'm going to have my hair up so was thinking :

or

http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/1172606/product/Sophisticated_Pierced_Earrings.html

They are a bit pricey but I thought its my wedding so now's the time to splurge!. (Debenhams has a sale so I have a cheaper option back up plan!). I cant decide whether to get a matching necklace or not?. Not sure if it will make the whole thing look too busy ? thoughts are welcome 😉.

I prefer the last ones if I'm honest, first ones look a bit chunky (in my mind)
Are you wearing a veil or a tiara? Just thinking that might sway the necklace choice

I prefer the second one too - I like the vintage feel as the dress itself is quite modern (in my mind).

I am not wearing a veil - I would have worn one but I love the back of the dress and I think the veil will hide the detail of the back and confuse things a bit. The lady in the shop agreed with me and if anything I'm sure she would have liked to make a sale..... I'm wearing my hair up in a french bun type style, I'm wearing a head band (still need to buy...) so essentially like a tiara but 'vertical' as opposed to 'horizontal'....think tiaras a bit too 'princessy'.....reminds me of disney movies for children.....how CYNICAL of me tut tut!.
