Hi all, I am type 2 on insuling injections twice a day. Over the past couple of days I have been feeling very lightheaded. My blood sugars are ok, is this a side effect from the insulin? Thanks.

What were your blood sugars before and when you felt light headed?

I was asking because sometimes if they have been higher but come down to a more normal level the body sometimes sees it as hypo know as a false hypo.

I am also feeling very anxious, heart palpatations. I think I am worrying too much about my condition.
I think you have answered your own question.

Anxiety is very real and presents with all these symptoms. Please be careful and try some breathing exercises. If the symptoms persist then don't be afraid to get some medical support.

Thanks for the replies. I went to the doctors yesterday and he prescribed me some medication to help with these symptoms, still quite frightening though. o_O

Wishing you all the best x anxiety is horrible to live with.
