Hi all. Just joined this forum(10 mins ago) and it looks interesting! Got this bloody illness about 30 years ago.Initially on tablets later on insulin. My doctor John Stride of Colville Health Centre was wonderful. He cared and looked after me impeccably(thank you Dr John) and I believe he has since won awards for his wonderful standards of care, a real Saint.. Having had this illness for 30 problem free years I am now beginning to reap the inevitable long term complications bonanza! ( Won't bore you with the details) But my 'stage name' will give you a clue! I am fed up being old being miserable and diabetic. In fact I am fed up with everything!!! in this Crazy world.(Don't stop reading...it can only get better!) I may sound like a Moaning Minnie but there is a sincerity in my moaning madness.Trust me please. At least you can forgive me because we all have something in common...that wonderful pancreatic/insulin problem. (It is now 9.30 pm in Winchelsea East Sussex and the heatwave has knacker d me) so I am going to dreamland!) Will be back soon goodnight Bonne's niches Bonne nuite

Hi fedup and welcome to the forum. This forum is great for a chat, laugh or even a good old rant. Hope you find it helpful.

Welcome Fedup. You have come to the right place for info and some empathy. We are all in this together so keep popping in and adding your penny's worth. Hope you feel less fed up tomorrow. Good night and savoury dreams

Greetings to the forum from me.

I'm currently on holiday in Romania with my wife and have been 'enjoying' a pretty constant 30+ degrees C for over a week now. (eek)

Mind you it is doing wonders for my skin (not being too humid) and my weight (not eating much apart from salad & other nice Romanian goodies)!

Andy 🙂

I hope that today was better than yesterday. Is there anything that we can help with? Any questions are good and nothing is silly. Someone on here will help.
