- Steroid Induced Diabetes
Hi, I have steroid induced diabetes, I've been diagnosed for over five years, I've been a dreadful diabetic.
Recently I had a stay in hospital and two surgeries on a huge abscess exacerbated by uncontrolled blood sugar.
For 4 weeks or so my bloods have been perfect, but I'm constantly hungry and totally bored with food, this has been my downfall before.
I am insulin dependent and I'm teetering with regards to food. I feel its a cop out with upping my insulin with food as I'm injecting huge quantities to offset the carbs which isn't ideal.
I have multiple health issues that aren't diabetes related.
Thoroughly fed up.
