I'd test to see how much of a hypo cure is needed.

I do a lot of walkies and get lows quite often.

If I was very low then I'd go for orange juice first or if I'm not that low just a sandwich.

How did the testing of warm sides of fingers suggestion go?

When I was first diagnosed, I was testing about 3 times a day, with the resultant sore fingers.

Now that my HbA1c results are stable, I test about 3 times a week, or if I am eating something different. The resulting trends are quite good with an average BG reading of 6.7.

As an aside we have a branch of Patisserie Valerie just opened, so I had a cinnamon Danish and a double espresso......Heavenly.

It's good to have a treat now and again.😎
